Due to the resignation of Mr. Ploner and the dissolution of the association IVV Südtirol, the association IVV Südtirol will no longer be continued as an independent association at the end of the year. The notice of termination was received by the IVV office on time at the end of September 2022. The South Tyrolean IVV associations will then be affiliated to FIASP - IVV Italy. This was agreed at the request of the remaining South Tyrolean clubs after a personal meeting with the IVV Presidium and the IVV associations in Klobenstein/South Tyrol and in consultation with FIASP. We would like to thank the long-standing president Mr. Friedrich Ploner for the decades of leadership of the association and his commitment to the IVV.

The South Tyrolean clubs belong to FIASP from 01.01.2023. Since this is largely an internal organizational change, our hikers continue to contact the tourist offices Steinegg, Ritten, Wolkenstein and Termeno as well as the hiking friends Val Gardena for the annual hiking event taking place there for details on permanent hiking trails.
